What parents love about homeschooling Heritage Studies with us
I am so happy that we went with BJU Press this year! I did a lot of research on what other online programs are available and thought this offered the best Christian education for the best price. I was looking for an online program that had different features such as video instruction, text book, and worksheets, and this has it all. It takes my kids about 25-45 minutes per subject to compete each lesson and do the assignment. I love that I still have total control over what is assigned and can skip any lesson or assignment that I choose.

We absolutely LOVE this curriculum! It is refreshing to learn History as it should be, with no hidden agenda. The teacher did a fantastic job of keeping my student engaged and well informed! Ordering the curriculum was so easy and I received the books so quickly I was surprised! My student loves BJU curriculum and the Distance Learning Online Program! We are planning to continue through High School with BJU! BJU for life, for this family!

This is a pretty thorough course on American history. You could use it for high school if you wanted. The course is taught from a politically conservative perspective. I love that the whole Constitution is included in the text! The teacher is interesting. My daughter feels like she's making a presentation rather than talking to her, but that's a personal preference. The best part of the course in my opinion are the essay assignments. It's great critical thinking and synthesis of information. It is definitely good preparation for high school.
